UNESCO stands for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. UNESCO is a special agency of United Nations which aimed to bring peace and security through promotion of international collaboration in the fields of science, education, human resources, communication, culture and information.
UNESCO was founded in 1945. There are 195 member states and 9 associate members in UNESCO. It is headquartered in Paris, France and have offices in across the globe.
UNESCO works to create the conditions for dialogue among civilizations, cultures and peoples, based upon respect for commonly shared values.
