Law is a very popular career choice in India for a long time.
To work as a lawyer a person must have a LLB degree and one can also choose other career options after LLB like corporate management, legal services and administrative services etc.
After completing Bachelor of Laws, one can practice as an advocate in the court of law, can work with corporate firms as a legal advisor, can work as a solicitor general or public prosecutor or offers services to government agencies, Banks, Legal departments.
LLB Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have bachelor degree of three-years or four-years duration in any subject/ discipline
- The (minimum) percentage requirement for General category candidates ranges from 45% to 55% and that for SC/ST category candidates it ranges between 35% to 45%.
You can opt for an LLM (Master of Laws) to earn a master degree.
