IAS: Indian Administrative Service
IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. It is the Civil Services Examination and one of the toughest competitive exams in India. It is the top and most prestigious administrative civil service of Government of India.
IAS Eligibility
- Nationality – Must be an Indian citizen
- Age Limit – Minimum age of 21 years, maximum age varies, depending on category and benchmark physical disability
- Minimum Educational Qualification – University degree (Graduate) from a recognised University
Every year an exam is scheduled by Union Public Service Commission. This is considered as the toughest exam in India due to its extreme competitive nature.
