And with the biggest smile on his face, Prateek comes home very excited. Roshni tries to remember the date but fails to understand why Prateek is so happy. But she becomes happy to see him like this. Prateek hugs Roshni and tells her that he has got another promotion.

‘Another promotion in the same year!’, Roshni feels good and simply tries to convince herself but more than that she is a bit shocked. She gives a thought that his organization is never this appreciative for any of its employee. So what has changed now.

Unable to digest the news, she finally asks Prateek.

“How did you get a promotion again when it was long due for Naveen?” (Naveen, who considers Prateek as his Best friend)

Noticing the curiosity and uneasiness of Roshni, Prateek holds her from shoulders and makes her sit in the chair, explaining her the whole story.

Roshni stares at Prateek while observing his short flirty smile when he tells her about their new manager Mohini. Apparently she seems to be very happy with his overall performance.

“Mohini!” Roshni repeats her name while widening her eyes in a sarcastic way.

Her mind goes blank and keeps on playing the whole conversation she just had with Prateek, on repeat mode. Suddenly she feels so weak and numb remembering Prateek’s old cunning habits of college time. She gets little worried but does not say a word to Prateek. She wants to know the actual truth but only if he tells her on his own. She finishes up the kitchen absent-mindedly and moves towards the bedroom.

Prateek starts preparing the bed while still feeling a little awkwardness from Roshni . When suddenly they hear a loud noise in the dressing room, it was the old mirror, which could not stand its own weight and breaks down in lots of pieces of different sizes. Prateek thanks God that everybody is safe. But Sahil gets excited seeing so many broken pieces of the mirror on the floor. He holds his hand and asks Prateek, “ Papa, see there are so many faces of you. But which one is real you? ”
